@happywebcoder I find the benchmark data over the last 3 or 4 years for Rails and ActiveRecord in particular supports my assertion. A 20% performance loss for 50% more selfish "developer happiness" is completely fine per Rails Doctrine. Sad that we can't optimize for "user happiness", instead.
