@Carnage4Life I cannot, CANNOT get over just how bad the Xbox One launch was. It's a business case study in snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. Xbox 360 was so fantastic, they had the whole videogame within their grasp and then.. holy crap was the Xbone PM-ed to the hilt disaster.

@bewing03 I do NOT recommend solo DMZ mode, unless you are very hardcore. Duos at minimum. Note that with local voice you can hear a squad and ask to join them, and hold down alt (on pc) to send or ack a request to squad up. Squads can be 6 or apparently more (!) people in DMZ.

@MaxHoberman @MintBlitz as an aside, this is why I like 32v32, 64v64, and ideally 128v128, and dislike very small matches. With that number of players you statistically always get "enough" great / decent / terrible players on each team.

Urgh. Crashes are happening way too often in Modern Warfare 2, and you lose all your mission items when it happens. This is after multiple video card driver and game driver updates. I wish they'd at least comp you with some mission stuff since they *know* the game crashed! https://t.co/h1uMuGqgD5

@ammarmalik1 well, my Surface Duo is a snapdragon 845 / Android 12 and it's so laggy in use compared to my iphone, even for simple stuff like GMail. I guess you get used to 120hz snappy performance, kinda like you get used to high speed internet vs. dialup

@slightlylate The real thing you need to be yelling about is how Qualcomm has a headlock on the Android ecosystem and they .. absolutely f-ing suck. There is ZERO choice. Walk into any store and just try to buy an Android "runs on any hardware" device not using terrible Qualcomm SoCs.

@slightlylate as you noted, was already running on Windows. Using Speedometer 2.1, Chrome is "only" 1.4x faster versus 1.5x faster under 2.0. So that is some minor good news for FF users! I'll include some more exciting obviously Windows screenshots for you 🤣 https://t.co/UQaRZwvWiN

@slightlylate I'm disinclined to do that because Safari and Firefox are the only other engines left. Apple needs to promote Safari or they'll kill it off in favor of "just use Chromium" like Microsoft did, IMO.

Not that surprising if you know that Qualcomm's very very best and most expensive SoCs can barely score 100 on speedometer. Have I mentioned that Qualcomm sucks and has basically singlehandedly set the entire mobile ecosystem back a decade in performance? Great work QC! 👍

My new personal web perf minimum "is it faster than an Apple watch". Note that this is a series 5; newer watches are 20% faster so around ~20. On the right is a Samsung S95B OLED "smart TV". @mpauldaniels yeah I've done that too, in an incognito browser window. The URLs are so wrong and the critical tell; I hope browser / companies understand that seeing the URL and vetting the URL is critical.

@ca_heckler @ptnik Nope. Tested again today, holding it up letting gravity pull it down and could not get it over 10w no matter what I did. It's just not as efficient as the others, maybe due to the actual panels?
