@loydcase it's kind of like doing a compile for -cpu ONE ZILLION, it will be slower; you're supposed to only do -cpu actual_cores etc

@loydcase generally because of cache contention, as they aren't real CPUs so it may be slower overall to do it that way

Camera+ and default Camera launch at the exact same speed for me (just under 2 sec) with GPS disabled in Camera.

actually turning off GPS in the camera app, and rebooting, did help -- just under 2 secs to camera now instead of a bit over 3

Why does it take the iPhone 4 three full seconds to launch the camera? Is there any way to speed that up? I deleted all photos, no change
