@digitalturtle_ unfortunately no experience with the genie, but I am 110% superfan of Litter Robot after almost a year. Including disassembly and cleaning, and installing the optional battery pack. It's so solid and reliable.

@simmdan 😱 we just got a new cat (9 months) and he took right to it. I even set up a small shoebox litterbox for him temporarily near the bed where he chose to hide out, along with food and water.. I think he used that litterbox all of once. I was surprised!

@David_67 it has been rock solid for us. Recently disassembled it, cleaned it, and added the battery pack for power-outage use as well. There's a clever little well and cables for it molded into the bottom of the case. I went for it, because.. wildfires and california.

@sundaram_anant @stevesi big companies make mistakes all the time. In this case it's not a huge mistake, and you can (mostly) trace it back to Apple just not really giving a damn about gaming, ever .. their fundamentals are plenty sound.

@sundaram_anant @stevesi Right, and it's a bad call. Especially since you can run iOS / iPad games / apps on the M1 macbook, all of which are completely designed around touch! But the recent much improved support of keyboard and mouse on iPad is quite cool, too.

@kwiens the bad news is we need something like this for search engines as well. Bing is not a credible competitor, but it gives Google a "get out of jail free" card all the time. It'd be more strategic for MS on so many levels to stop doing that..

@stevesi Is it really such a leap? We've seen amazing, exceptional Apple silicon perf for a long time now, and Apple has changed CPUs before. Plus they did nothing to bridge the touchscreen gap. They should have done this years ago, but happy to see it now at least!
