@hisshadow "maximize SPDIF compatibility" setting doesn't exist in the latest ffdshow on the HTPC. It is present on this machine however.

@rogerguess if I let my router DHCP give out OpenDNS DNS info, local windows networking gets squirrelly. Removing them fixed it.
